Belated Merry Christmas and an Early Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all! This year our Christmas turned out to be CRAZY! But, it was an excellent crazy!  We ended up having to move on December 22nd...yes...3 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS?! I thought maybe I had lost my mind.  We discovered that we had the annoying little creatures known as mice in our apartment. We also discovered that this was a problem that our landlords had previously had. Their response to the problem was "Mice move in during the winter, it is part of nature"...and didn't want to do anything about the problem. So-as part of nature-we moved out. We were able to find a beautiful new apartment that we absolutely LOVE. Our Christmas was a bit of a mess...between boxes and unpacking, and Christmas Wrap and more boxes, and presents...the appearance of our apartment left much to be desired. I was determined to make the Christmas as good and normal as possible though. So, I made sure to get the tree up and decorated the first night we were in our apartment. I also made a traditional Christmas breakfast that my Mom makes! I made Land of Nod Cinnamon "Buns"/"Rolls", and I made a Breakfast Pizza/Casserole. It was nice to have a taste of home! We had to wake up Addy, but she was THRILLED when she saw the 36" Minnie Mouse that Santa brought her! It was a very Minnie Christmas! This was definitely the best Christmas so far with her, she really got the hang of it, and she was so thrilled with everything! We then went to Grandma and Grandpa LeLaCheur's house for Christmas Dinner, which was great! We were able to go on Skype with Gramma and Grampa Rechenmacher and Addy could show them all the great presents she got for Christmas! Skype is the best invention "since sliced bread".

This year for New Year's we are planning to go to Grandma and Grandpa LeLaCheur's house and spend the night playing games and eating great food! It should be a great time.

Jason and I have been really planning and preparing for this upcoming year. There are a lot of great things coming up, and I will be happy to share them as they happen!

Since we had to cancel our trip to Canada this year because of my surgery, we will DEFINITELY be making a trip to Canada this year, we just need to figure out the exact time!

We all hope that this upcoming year of 2013 will be filled with love, joy, happiness, family and friends for you all!

LOVE, THE LELACHEUR'S
