I woke up refreshed this morning, got ready for work and was actually looking forward to going to work. I had made a super good lunch, and I would be picking up Jason from LDS Business College when I got off work, then the rest of the day was open. It was going to be a GREAT day. Then the dreaded happened...I got my shoes and coat on, grabbed my purse-reach in...and my heart sank. Crap. "Where are my KEYS"? Automatic panic set in. So, I began to search our place and could not find them. So, I called work and explained my situation and said I would be there late, but as soon as I find my keys I will be there. Well an hour went by...then another hour...then another hour...and so on. Looked in the laundry hamper, in different coats, in different clothes, in drawers, behind dressers, outside in the parking lot, in the mailbox, on the outside of our door, in the fridge, freezer, garbages, bathtub, sinks, cupboards...anywhere you can think of-I looked there! That was my day. No luck finding keys. So Jason ended up having to take the bus home from school. Then when he got home we went to Lowe's thinking we would be able to just get new keys cut for me...OUR STUPID CAR KEY HAS A CHIP INSIDE OF IT-so we get to go pay out of our rearend to get another key made at the car dealership! Hip hip hooray! This day just keeps getting better! We then went to Lorie's to see if I left them there when we were babysitting Porter yesterday-nope. Not there either. So we came home...and I made crepes for dinner. It was my first time ever-but can I just tell you, if you ever have a stressful/frustrating/bad day-make yourself some crepes. They are the ULTIMATE comfort food. After dinner tonight, I just knew everything was going to be okay. Something about the crepes just did it for me!(Or it might have something to do with the fact that I'm pregnant-that could affect my mood too I guess-or so I have heard!)
As for Jason- it was his orientation for LDS Business College today! He really enjoyed it and is really looking forward to being back to school. I am so excited for him!
