Close Call

I am sure that the large majority of us have been in a situation where it was a "close call" and your life "flashes before your eyes"...that happened for me last night. I was driving home from work when I drove through what was more than just a puddle, it was a HUGE amount of standing water in the road. 2 other cars and I drove through it at the same time as it was big enough to cover 3 lanes on the freeway. Anyway...when we went through it I couldn't see anything but water and I was literally praying to just not hit something. I was hydroplaning and couldn't see anything so I was just praying to make it out alive. It was literally the scariest thing I have ever experienced. I am so grateful that I was blessed to not be hurt and to make it home safely in such an awful storm...I know lots of times in situations like that, people don't make it out alive. I am grateful for that tender mercy.
