Jo.

Sometimes I think certain people come into our life for a reason. Whether it is to teach us, to help us, to comfort us...or all of the above...or it could be a completely different reason altogether. One of my best friends, her name is Jo. Or at least, that's what she goes by. This girl is amazing. She is a friend to everyone she meets. Jo and I met about 2 weeks after I moved to Medicine Hat for college. Jo moved into the house I was living at and I was beyond excited to have a roommate! Jo wasn't just a friend, she was like a sister to me. Jo was there for me in a time in my life where I needed someone like her the most. When I think of someone I know who is Christ-like, Jo comes to mind. Jo is one of the most quotable people I think I have ever known...someone will say something to me and I will start to laugh and in my head say what Jo would have said to that. Jo was a bridesmaid in my wedding. I was so grateful that she took the time to come to Utah and be a part of my wedding, another reason why she is like a sister to me. Since I got married, Jo and I have still kept in touch. I wish that would could talk more than we do, but when we do, it is like we pick up right where we left off. Jo is now in the MTC in Provo preparing to serve in the Colorado Denver South mission. The people of Denver are very lucky people. They are going to be so blessed by Jo. Maybe this post seems really random, but I was going through some pictures tonight and I found a bunch from when Jo and I were roommates so I just had to share!
