Ok so the update posts are not necessarily in chronicle order of events...sorry. But on June 17, we celebrated Adalyn's 1st birthday. It was so fun! We did a watermelon themed birthday party...complete with watermelon cups, plates,table cloth, napkins, and of course a watermelon cake and a watermelon dress! It all looked so cute! Getting the completed cake was a story in and of itself...long story short-I made 3 cakes before I succeeded. After the 2nd mishap, Jason said "We can just go buy one if you want"...I said "No, I am making this watermelon cake!"...needless to say...the 3rd one turned out. Adalyn was spoiled with gifts! Thanks everyone for coming!
We also celebrated Adalyn, Jason, Grampa Rechenmacher, and Cami's birthdays while Gramma and Grampa Rechenmacher were here! It was a lot of fun! I made a watermelon cake for that party too. Note: Only one cake was made this time...thanks to Gramma Rechenmacher saving that cake.
June is a crazy busy month for birthdays but it makes it fun thats for sure! Here are some pictures from the parties!
