Mother's Day

Well yesterday was my first Mother's Day. Aside from the fact that I was sick as a dog...it was awesome! I love being a mother. There are days that is is so hard and trying, but the days which are far more common are the ones that are so fun. Adalyn is such a joy to have around and we just love her to pieces. She is a VERY busy little girl, but so fun! Her little smile when she is into something she shouldn't be just melts your heart. She is such a sweetheart. I can't wait for all my extended family and friends to meet her this summer in Canada!

I just wanted to say a little something to the 2 mother's in my life:

My Mom.
Mom, you are the best they come. I know that there were sooo many times growing up I wasn't as grateful as I should have been, and I didn't realize how much you really loved me, and I didn't necessarily show you that I loved you the way that I should have. I hope I am 1/2 as good of a mother to Adalyn as you have been to not only me, but all of us kids. You are a huge blessing to us. You are a great listener, and you offer great advice just when it is needed. And you are an awesome Gramma. I can't wait for Adalyn to see you this summer and play with you! She is going to have so much fun having Gramma and Grampa here!

My Mom-in-Law.
Mom, you are the best Mother-in-Law any daughter-in-law could ask for. You have been so loving to me ever since we "met" in February of 2008. You are so supportive to Jason and I. You raised an amazing family. You are also an awesome Gramma. Addy loves to play with you and it is so fun to watch. Thank you for treating me like I am one of your own. It means so much to know that I am welcomed into a family who loves me.
