So, I haven't been posting as many blog posts as I was when I first started the blog...thats because Jason and I don't have the internet yet at our apartment. When I can finally start working we will get a internet/cable/phone combo! We can't wait! So until then...our posts are going to continue to be spuratic! Basically whenever we're and Lorie and Matt's, or Mom and Dad LeLaCheur's!
A while ago Mike asked Jason if he would play on his softball team for the fall season! Jason was so excited! So their first game was on Thursday night! It was so fun to watch Mike and Jason play together! So for the next month, we know what we are doing on Thursdays! Lorie and Matt went to the temple on Thursday night, so we took their kids down to the game with us! It was so much fun to have them with us!
On Friday night Jason and I drove up to Rexburg, Idaho for my friend Christina's wedding reception! They got married in Rexburg...but their reception was in the most podunk place ever! haha! And of course, we lost the map for where to go! So, we went to Idaho Falls, and Jason just went from what he could remember on the map...I have no idea how he was able to feel his way there-he's amazing! We stopped at a couple of gas stations to ask if we were on the right road...and they had no idea where this reception place was...so we just kept driving and driving until we finally saw a billboard for the place and it said 9 MILES AHEAD!...it was seriously in the middle of nowheresville! But amazingly we were only like 5 minutes late! I was so honored for Jason and I to be invited to their family dinner! We were going to drive back to Bountiful after the reception-its 3 hours. So, we decided we would find a cheap hotel-so we went into Rexburg and got a room at the Days Inn! It was so much fun to just drive and explore Rexburg! Such a nice small city! I love it! On Saturday morning we waited outside the temple for Christina and Jacob to come out after they got married! They were glowing! Christina looked absolutely beautiful! I don't have my camera with me right now, so next time I'm on a computer I'll make sure to have my camera so I can put up some pictures! They will be living in Provo! I am so excited to have one of my friends living down here!
We got home from Rexburg on Saturday at about 4pm, and we had invited our friends James and Kristene over for dinner and a movie, so when we got home it was a quick run to the grocery store and back home to start making Taco Salad! I have decided that this is a great meal if you're under a time crunch! It was great to have James and Kristene over though! They're awesome! Thanks for coming guys!
So yesterday we went up to Jason's cousins house (Emilie and Paris) for their son's 16th birthday party! It was fun! They live up north of Ogden, so on the way home we stopped to see a couple of ladies that Jason worked at the Bishop's Storehouse with! They are so nice! It was fun to visit with them!
That brings us to today! Jason has today off, so we came up to Mom and Dad LeLaCheur's house to hang out! It has been a nice relaxing and fun day!
So-until next time-Adios!
PS-I'm waiting on my work permit-it shouldn't be too much longer I don't think. I CAN'T WAIT!
