Things are coming together!

Well, the last few days have been pretty busy trying to get all of our stuff organized! Quite the task trying to find places for everything when your apartment is really small! But I think I've got it cased.

Yesterday Jason and I spent the last of our gift cards that we got for our wedding! It was great! We went to Bed Bath and Beyond(to all you Canadians, its a must see store, anything and everything you would need for your home...its there!) and we got a set of pots and pans, pillows, a laundry sorter, and a garbage can!

On Monday it was Jason's day off and so we went to Target and used our gift cards there! We got a new microwave and a bed set! I love our bed set! It's not even too girly, I think I did good on that end! It's a light green plaid. Since I have moved in when Jason and I got married, and have kind of been decorating our apartment, I have tried really hard not to make it way too girly...jason hasn't complained yet so I think its okay!(I hope anyway!)




On Monday Jason and I also drove out to Antelope Island(for everyone back home-its an island in the middle of the Great Salt Lake) and hung out there for a few hours! It was nothing like I expected...its a desert out there! I don't know about you, but whenever I think of an island, I think of lots of trees...so when we got out there and there were no trees...I was shocked! But it was fun to explore out there. We didn't take our swimsuits so we couldn't go swimming but we waded in the salt lake which was fun, it was so warm! I'm definitely taking my family out there next summer when they come!
